Janina Lin Otto

Janina Lin Otto is a philanthropist, entrepreneur, keynote speaker, podcaster and regenerative farmer. All her work is based on her conviction: Every person, in their self-efficacy, can help carry our planet into a livable future. The keys to this are education and enlightenment.

At the Holistic Foundation, Janina is responsible for the areas of partner dialogues, network building and communication - she builds bridges between the different areas. She supports the lighthouse projects holi and LIFE HAMBURG in particular as a strategic challenger in the areas of user-centeredness and communication. In the course of 2023/24, Janina will work with a small team to further develop the "Inspiration" area at the foundation.

In terms of content, Janina is deeply committed to the topics of education, nutrition and mental health, whereby her interest is primarily dedicated to the people behind them. In her podcast "Das Leben ist (k)ein Ponyhof" Janina talks to exciting personalities and explores together with the guests how searching and finding one's own potential can create the basis for a happy life.

Food and agriculture have always played a big role in her life. While her thesis is about food appreciation and her company "Frau Ultrafrisch" also promoted healthy fast food, today she proves that going back to growing your own food can be challenging and fulfilling: She lives out her convictions fully with her family on her self-sufficient farm.

Other roles: Janina is a member of the board of trustees of the Werner Otto Foundation as well as the RTL "Wir helfen Kindern" foundation.
