Benjamin Otto is an entrepreneur, founder and philanthropist. As a philanthropist, he is particularly passionate about the topics of wellbeing / holistic health, vocation and social entrepreneurship.
The diagram shows the multi-faceted spectrum of his activities, from philanthropic work to incubation activities, to impact investing and "classic" entrepreneurial activity.
In the Holistic Foundation, Benjamin is primarily concerned with the strategic issues of the initiation projects LIFE HAMBURG and HOLI. He also pushes his personal heart topic "Wellbeing" with his HHI Holistic Health Institute, which will get a home in LIFE.
Benjamin is also active as an investor in the start-up and venture capital sector, including at the impact tech fund Revent Ventures: Revent is primarily aimed at start-ups in the ClimateTech, EdTech and E-Health segments.
He is also a co-founder and shareholder of the online retailer ABOUT YOU.
As a "shaping partner" in the Otto Group, Benjamin is specifically responsible for the strategic orientation with the mission statement "Responsible Commerce that inspires": With this cultural change, he wants to set new standards for digitalization and sustainability and accompany the company into a successful future.
Other roles: Benjamin is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Michael Otto Foundation, the Board of Partners of Otto GmbH & Co. KG and of the Supervisory Board of Verwaltungsgesellschaft Otto mbH.
