Dear interested parties,
In its 2026 funding cycle, the Holistic Foundation is supporting initiatives that focus on lifelong learning/education, career/vocation, well-being/health, and/or the environment/nutrition. The focus of this year's cycle is on career/vocation. We also want to prioritize initiatives that target seniors and can be implemented at our LIFE HAMBURG Campus.
Non-profit organizations with suitable projects can apply for funding of up to €25,000 based on their needs.
Only applications that meet all funding criteria and for which the relevant complete documents have been uploaded will be considered in the selection process (please use the financial application template (here).

Timeline:
- Until March 20 at 6 p.m.: Submission of applications
- Until the end of April: Review of applications and board decision
- By mid-June: Feedback, clarification of open questions, and funding decisions
Procedure:
The Holistic Foundation team will preselect the submitted project descriptions for presentation to the foundation's board in accordance with the funding criteria of the call for proposals and the evaluation criteria (see below).

Please check our funding criteria before applying:
- Compatibility with our values, vision, and funding priorities
- Based anywhere in Germany, but impact must be felt in the Hamburg metropolitan region
- Maximum budget of €25,000 (partial funding only if additional funds have already been committed)
- Feasibility within the next 12 months until the end of H1 2027
- Proven non-profit status of your organization
- Proven track record of funding from other reputable foundations
- Direct impact on a group/community (not: individual funding, studies, etc.)
- No dependencies on input from us or third parties that could jeopardize implementation
- Desire to communicate the impact jointly
Our evaluation criteria:
1. Content fit with our funding priorities
2. Personal fit with our values and your (entrepreneurial) spirit
3. Proven impact logic (social return via pre-printed financial application, see above)
4. Additional added value (e.g., social cohesion, education, communicative potential)
Q&A session
OnTuesday, March 17, at 12:00 p.m., we will offer a virtual consultation hour during which we will answer general questions about the 2026 funding cycle in short, individual conversations (no individual evaluation). Please register for the consultation hour, including your concise questions, by Sunday, March 15, by emailing contact@holistic.foundation.
Participation in the session serves to clarify any questions; participation in the session does not confer any advantage in the evaluation.

The:The applicant is aware and agrees to provide the recipient of the application and/or the agents with the data required for monitoring the success, documentation, and evaluation of the funding program, in compliance with all relevant data protection regulations, as well as to participate in surveys, interviews, and other data collection activities and to provide any other necessary information. In addition, the applicant agrees that the foundation may communicate about the applicant's organization and project through its own communication channels (such as its website, social media, and newsletter) as part of its public relations work. The application, including all data and documents, will be submitted and temporarily stored via the service provider Airtable (our data processor). In addition, the privacy policy on the Holistic Foundation website applies.
