Dear interested parties,
In the 2025 funding cycle, the Holistic Foundation supports initiatives that are committed to the funding priorities of lifelong learning/education, career/vocation, well-being/health and/or environment/nutrition. The focus topics of this year's cycle are environmental and nutritional education in particular.
Non-profit organizations with suitable projects in the Hamburg metropolitan region can apply for funding of up to 25,000 euros.
Only applications that meet all funding criteria and for which the corresponding complete documents have been uploaded (please use the template for the financial application(link)) will be considered in the selection process.

Timeline:
- By 20.06. at 6 pm: Submission of applications
- By mid-July: Review of applications and board decision
- By the end of August: Feedback, clarification of open questions and funding decisions
Procedure:
The Holistic Foundation team will pre-select the submitted project descriptions for submission to the foundation board in accordance with the funding criteria of the call for proposals and the evaluation criteria (see below).

Please check our funding criteria before starting the application process:
- Fit with our values, vision and funding priorities
- Can be based anywhere in Germany, impact must be achieved in the Hamburg metropolitan region
- Maximum budget of 25.000 euros (partial funding only if further funds have already been committed)
- Can be implemented within the next 12 months until the end of H1 2026
- Proven non-profit status of your organization
- Proven track record of funding from other renowned foundations
- Direct impact in a group / community (not: individual funding, studies, ....)
- No dependencies on input from us or third parties that jeopardize implementation
- Desire for joint communication of impact
Our evaluation criteria:
1. Content fit with our funding priorities
2. Personal fit with our values and your (entrepreneurial) spirit
3. Proven impact logic (social return via financial application form, see above)
4. Additional added value (e.g. social cohesion, education, communicative potential)
Q&A session
On Wednesday, June 11 at 12:00 noon, we will offer a virtual consultation hour in which we will answer general questions about the 2025 funding cycle (no individual evaluation).
Please register for the consultation hour including your briefly formulated questions by Sunday, June 8, by e-mail to contact@holistic.foundation. Participation in the session serves to clarify any questions, participation in the session does not give you an advantage in the evaluation.
Data protection information
The applicant is aware of and agrees to provide the recipient of the application and/or the representatives with the data required for the performance review, documentation and evaluation of the funding program, observing all relevant data protection legislation as required, as well as to participate in surveys, interviews and other data collection and to provide the otherwise required information.
In addition, the applicant agrees that the Foundation may communicate about the applicant's organization and project via its own communication channels (e.g. website, social media, newsletter) as part of its public relations work.
The application, including all data and documents, is submitted and temporarily stored via the service provider airtable (our processor).
