With "Disinformation Self Defense," the dpa's Use the News initiative empowers young people through a practical self-defense course against disinformation, promotes critical thinking and judgment, and enables them to build news literacy, develop resilience, and pass on their knowledge in a train-the-trainer approach using a modular peer-to-peer approach.
