The association promotes the sustainable city of the future, which can produce almost everything it needs itself. Produce locally, recycle everything, establish global alliances: That is the idea of the Fab City. The Fab City is the answer to the challenges of the present, above all climate change. This can be achieved with a consistent circular economy, new production processes from openly accessible machines, a new digital infrastructure for the city and comprehensive participation by the city's inhabitants.
